RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION AGENDA
As a National Center of Excellence in the Basic Sciences, the Institute of Chemistry academic and research staff continue to engage in research, development, and innovation activities geared towards knowledge generation, useful discoveries and explorations, technology development and innovations, inclusive growth and development, and resilience, sustainability, and nation-building.
Anchored on the UPLB Accelerating Growth through One Research and Extension in Action (UPLB AGORA) agenda and the CAS Research and Development Agenda (CAS R&D Agenda), IC RDI initiatives are implemented in collaboration with other UPLB units and research laboratories/centers/institutions in the country and abroad.
The IC Research, Development, and Innovation (IC RDI) Agenda is composed of three overarching themes that span the various fields of chemistry and allied sciences indicating the multi- and inter-disciplinary nature of chemistry-related research gaps that the IC faculty, staff, and students would like to address in their respective RDI undertakings.
