The UPLB Institute of Chemistry congratulates Asst. Prof. Arvin Paul P. Tuaño for being this year's recipient of the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas (KKP) Best Graduate Student in Chemistry Award, given during the 2024 Chemistry Graduate Student Conference (CHEMGSC-2024) held on 15 February 2024, at The Verdure, 4th Floor, Henry Sy Hall, De La Salle University, Taft Ave., Manila. The said award is co-presented by KKP and the La Salle Food and Water Institute. During the CHEMGSC-2024, Asst. Prof. Tuaño also presented an oral paper entitled “Grain Quality and Starch Properties of Philippine Rice - 15 Years of Involvement in Rice Chemistry Research in the Philippines: A Retrospect”.
